It's gonna be a good weekend

I got up bright and early this morning to test out a couple different Stilleto props I picked up for my boat. First one didn't work well at all, tagged the rev limiter at about 60 mph though it jumped out of the hole like an animal. The second prop was just right, 200 rpm under the redline at 69 mph. Since I was just out for a test run, I didn't have any fishing gear on board. I saw this fallen tree that was just screaming to me, so I searched and found a crappy spare pole down in the bilge that I usually let buddies use if they don't have one. It had a dried out rubber lizard on it from last year, but it was the only thing on board so I gave it a try. I bagged these 2 little fellas in 4 casts, the second one swallowed the dried out lizard and ended the morning. I hope I can keep up the cast to catch ratio for tomorows tournament LOL.

What kind of boat ya got ??? Tell me about your boat. 69 on the water is kinda moving it. I has a 22' Bullet bass boat with a Merc. 250 on the back, needless to say, if you know anything at all about boats, you know that thing would fly. The fastest I ever had it going was 88mph (according to speedo but we know boat speedos are give or take a few) and after the nose started lifting on me, I puckered and had to let off. Someone stole it right out my front yard several years back, ain't seen it since.

Bummer about someone swiping your boat Dirt. Bullit boats are the race cars of bass boats, no doubt. There is a local guy that has one, it's an animal. My boat is kind of a sleeper, it's a little Nitro NX 750. It's only 17'6" but it got an Optimax 150hp hanging off the back. Since Nitro rates the hull for a max output of 115hp, I've got the 150hp dressed in 90hp stickers to keep marine patrol off my back. A few guys have called me out on it after getting lit up across the lake, but most people just scratch there heads when they see the little 90hp pushing 70mph across the lake. I had one guy tell me he was going to the marina that sold him his NX 750 with a "real" 90hp on the back to bitch that his would only do 46. I just kept my mouth shut and offered him "good luck" LOL
