Not me, ive heard it can be a trickey job, and if you screw it up it'll cost you more in the long run. I just had mine done at the dealer last week 3.5 hrs labour.

Well i talked to a polaris tech. and he told me of a way to not use the tool. which is to drill a small hole in it and screw a metal screw in it and jerk it right out... Well all worked out just like plan but the "jerk right out part" it wontcome out.
If i have to i can buy the tool for 93.50 shipped

I just did the repair like above, but I used a flat head screw driver and CAREFULLY bent the lip of the seal up about half way around and then the seal will just "pop" out. I then used a large socket and tapped it back in evenly. Worked like a charm with no problems afterwards. Just be carefull not to go too deep with the drill bit when drilling the hole in the main seal. You WILL hit the oil seal behind it and have to redo it. Don't ask me how I know.

I don't remember what size it was, sorry. I just matched it up with the seal size and tapped it in easy and straight. the most important thing is to do it slow and keep it as straight as possible. I am curious to see what the tool looks like. Can you post a pic of it.
