shifting

My brother inlaw has a 2004 Eiger standard shift it appears to be stuck in 4th or 5th and won't shift up or down has anyone else ever had a problem like this.

Finally something in the suzuki section.

I Wish I could help, but I don't know. Is there any kind of adjustment bolt?? Hopefully someone will chime in, anyone with a footshift bike of any brand should be able to help.
