I didn't know it was the Rubberdown guys untill I stoped in at my buddies houes, where Paul got the tire on the RZR pumped back up. Let me know next time so I can get out with yall. The fourth pic is from Marshall Rd. right, looks like you guys hit the shallow side. lol. I took a ride down there yesterday, and I could see the EDL tracks going around all the holes, whats with that?? lol, just kidding.

Yep, I cant wait to see more pics. That long run of water was on the other side of Black creek, right. Where did you guys cross? Netherby Rd? I've been down to the end of the lines 4 times this year, and they are a ton of fun, other that all of the grass that gets wrapped around the axels.

But schisler Rd. dosn't cross the hydrolines.
It don't matter, all that matters is its fun to ride, and the holes are deep.

Sorry, I meant Sherk Rd. If you head towards fort erie from chippawa on the power lines, and you go until it ends at a fence, there is a trail that heads to the right, you take that all the way to a dirt road, i think it might be whilobey (sp?), then turn left and it goes to Sherk rd, then you turn left down Sherk road until it joins back up on the power lines, we went to there, then hooked back and said hi to my buddy Deans father, they live out on the parkway right there....

Yep, I went for a ride there yesterday. We will have to get out so I can show you the "good" parts of the lines. You guys didn't go far. there is still about 15 - 20 km of hydroline past that. The only problem is you have to cross the QEW and Black Creek, about 1 km or less of road riding. Any ways, down a was there is a set of holes that my buddy drove a Grizz 350 in, and it was just under the handel bars. There is sooo much DEEP water down there, it isn't even funny. We rode it 3 or 4 times this year, and the shortest time it took us was 5 1/2 hours. One time we were gone for more that 7. The gas lights were all blinking when we got back. lol Paul check out our pics on MN.

Back before a few of my buddies stopped riding ATV's and started riding Harley's, we would be out there all the time, we usually went as far as Stevensville, and we would stop at the Scuttlebutt for a beer and a bite to eat. Now I'm lucky to get out for 1 local ride a year:sick:

I'll amen to that on the grass as well!!! Geez,it was wrapped around everything that turned and a few things that didn't!LOL Oh the concrete/clay mixture was fun to remove as well! But it was great to get out and ride with you guys, and thank Brian again for his hospitality!:thumb:

You guys are the lucky ones. You only have to rip all that grass off once, I ride there every third day or so, and i spend more time cleaning the bike then i do riding it. And that clay, well it stains and sticks to everything. If you don't mind the mud, its an awesome place to ride.

Do you ever see cops out there, ever see em on ATV's or giving you a hard time? Reason I ask is I was told this weekend that we were lucky we didnt get stopped. I was told they are cracking down on the seaway property and the power lines???? You ever see them out that way?

Never. I have riden on the hydro lines since I was 8, i am now 18, so 10 yrs, and not one encounter. No cop cars, atvs or anything. Now riding on the Niagara Parkway waking trail, during the summer, well I won't go there. lol A few weeks ago me and the Mudding Niagara group was out, and they were all parked on a side road unloading their bikes, and a cop just drove by and smiled. As long as your not doing anything stupid or illegal, they won't bother you. There was rumor that some guy was tearing up golf courses on his atv, so i think they are looking out for that individual. Always has to be someone that gives our sport a bad name.

they caught a kid a couple summers ago that did about $10,000 damage to a golf green on his ATV, that was BAD for all of us at the time.

Yep, I hate people like that. They ruin it for all of us. Just like the accident near GM, the coppers were out on there popos for weeks to follow, b/c of one incident. They never hear about all of the fun safe rides. I know they are just doing their job, but they can't go around thinking all atver's are out to annoy and disturb the community. We are just enjoying our weekends with our recreational sport.

OK, I got a question and I am hoping yall don't chew me out for this. This is not meant to be mean or harmful in any way and I KNOW it's the right and correct thing to do.......
But....................... why do all you guys wear helmets ???
Or maybe a better question....................... do yall ALWAYS wear your helmets when out for a group ride like that ????? Is it common practice for you guys OR was it kinda mandatory for the area yall were in, possibly problems with the law if not wearing a helmet ????
Only reason I ask, is because when we go on rides ourselves, we are always crawling and creeping through creeks and mudholes, none of us ever going over 10mph and none of our bikes ever come out of low gear, so even when we ride in huge groups, none of us wear our helmets EXCEPT the kids that are 16 and under, but even when they do, us adults still don't wear our helmets.
I KNOW helmets are safe and suppose to be worn so don't chap my ass for the question, I am just curious if yall ALWAYS wear helmets or was it just this occasion ???

OK, I gotcha Rob. It's also the law here too, as long as we are on public or government land, we have to wear helmets, it's just we do SO much riding on private land that I'm so use to not wearing a helmet.

I only had my helmet on in Texas for mky muddacross race, other than that, it stayed at camp. However, we were never hot doggin it there either. It is law here and if we see a cop on the trail, they usually never bother us, but if they saw us riding without buckets on, they would definatly stop us for sure and give us a nice fact ticket!

Yep, almost a $200 ticket. I'd rather buy stuff for my bike then get that ticket. I take mine off all the time when I hit the long deep holes, and just crawling through in low. Here in Niagara Falls you don't have to wear a helmet on Private property, but I don't know of a single trail that runs on private property. Also great pics guys, I know all of thoes holes. You just have to watch out for the metal scrap and cement in some holes. I might put up a sign, b/c two nights ago I cut both of my right tires pretty good. And I have sliced 3 tires now from riding that section of the hydro lines.
