THis may be a stupid question, but are there wheel bearings on the sportsmans. I looked at a schematic and it didnt show any for the front, only for the rear, is that correct?
The reason i ask is because when i replace my axles i plan on replace pretty much everything in the front end. ball joints, axles, differential cage, and bearings if there are any.
thanks in advance

There are bearings in the front
When you take the front hub off they will be right there.

When I replace the bearings is there anything else that I need to replace like seals or anything?. THe inner and outter race, maybe?
So since I am buying front drive shafts, will this replace the existing bearings or this is all a seprate thing?
This is something I am still trying to figure out. ALl of the front end stuff lol
thanks for the info guys

Fronmt axles dont come with front wheel bearings, they are seperate all together, but the front axles, or should I say the front outer CV ends go through the wheel bearinds as do the front hubs, they both ride on the inside of the inner bearinf race. the bearing itself gets pressed into the bottom end of the front struts and is held in with a large circlip on the outer side of it. You pop that out and then gently press the bearings out. When you go to put in the new bearings, put the bearings in the freezer for a few hours first, make sure the hole for the new bearings is realy clean, and if you have a head gun, you can put a little heat to it. This will expand the hole for the bearings, and freezing them will shrink them like 0.001" of an inch so they will drop right in, just make sure they are lined up good and square. Once you have the new bearings in, you can put the circlip back in, then you can reasemble the front end. If you plan to do the ball joints, use the same method, put a little heat around them before you try to pull them out, but focus the heat on the surrounding area, not the ball joint itself. Put the new ball joints in the freezer and put a little heat to the socket they go into, then slide them into place and put the end caps back on.
A good suggestion when assembling the front axles and the hubs is to use a little Anti seize on the hub and the end of the CV joint so they dont get siezed into the bearings for the next time you need to take it all apart.

You can never have too much money, too many friends, or too much anti-sieze. A motto to live by.
