Well, here goes nothing. Just woundering if any one knows if it's posible to put a 650 rotax where a 500 once was. I know anything is possible but are things like the frame and drive shafts the same between the two different bikes. The little Quest could use some help in the power department and if I could find a 650 motor cheap enough.......

Is yours the V-twin 500? If so all you need to do is buy the piston kit.

No, it's just the single. Is the older 650 from the quest a single or a twin? I never thought about the posibility of just swapping the jug and piston and maby the rod if needed.

I just read that the older 650's are a single cylinder. Time to find out if the jug will bolt on to the base of a 500.
