Any one had bad luck getting rims from Ebay? I am looking at the SS212's and I can get a new set off Ebay for $279 shipped. Why are these rims $65 cheaper than I get them through any store? The Ebay seller has a 5,000+ feedback at 100%.

A couple of years back I bought some rims and tires off ebay with no problems. Not to sure why they sell them cheaper, maybe wholesale/warehouse. But they seems good with that type of feedback rating.

Alot less overhead with an ebay store. Some places just sell from a home computer and ship everything from the manufacture.

Man half the stuff I buy is off eBay...dealers just have to high of a markup. Most of the time if I see something I want I'll get on eBay and save on average 10% or even 20% even with the shipping I have to pay.

I don't think $279 shipped for a set of 12" ss212's is a bad deal at all. I was just a little unsure about getting them off of Ebay.

I sent a message yesterday and just checked tonight for a reply. He said there brand new not seconds but they are only 12x7 front and rear. I am running a 27x12 tire in the rear and I don't like the idea of only having a 7' rim. Bad enough with an 8".

that 7" is fine.
99 % of the wheels out there are 12x7.
only vision and msa offer a 12x8 or deep dish.

my 12 wide laws are on 7's.....but also gotta run a spacer to clear those massive hands hanging off the side.

That's what you are gonna run into with a IRS bike kinda threw me for a loop coupe years back I've only owned sport bikes prior to buying the 4x4's when I first bought my 07 Grizzly I looked at the rims and thought damn them rims are skinny
