OK 589's or Mud-lites? or maybe MST's? What about Mud Bitches? LOL I cant freaking decide. Swaying towards 589's, how are they for an all around mud/trail tire?

I liked my ITP 589's and I like my Titan 589s even more. Good all around 6 ply tire, good in mud, good in snow, good on the trail and not too bad on the road either.

I wouldnt get mud lights from all I have heard, just a CHEAP tire....

Mud lites are better than stock but any of the others you listed will do better in the mud. MSTs should mud as good as the 589s & will ride better on hard pack but will cost a premium price.

I am personally torn between the MSTs or Bi/Tri Claws for my next set.

I saw a set of 27" swamplites in the Tri-Ad paper. I really like mine for mud and trail riding. The same guy had a set of 28" MST's too. I'd like to pick them up just for my spare rim's.

589's are good, but the Kenda Executioners are better. It's basically the same tread pattern, but the Ex's have a "stepped up" shoulder tread that allows them to have a deeper tread, ride smoother, put more tread to the ground which = more traction, and wear more evenly which gives better tread life. They are also made with a tougher rubber compound and wear great. I also think the price is lower than the 589's.

Alright found a set of tires/wheels for a great price. Just want to know if ITP SS106 wheels have a different offset than stock for a Polaris 700...The fronts are 10" wide and I know those wont fit on stock steel rims. Steering arm will rub on the tire

hmmmm...very interesting, I have looked at those in the book several times and thought WOW, thats a bad ass looking tire, maybe I'll see about a set of those next time I need new ones.

Yes, the ITP SS106 have a different offset than stock rims to allow for larger tires.

ITP rims should have about a 1" wider stance than stock.

Do you know how much he was asking for the MSTs?

Im just a little worried that the Bi/Tri's might be a bit more agressive than i really need.

Here is something that might help with every one's tire decisions in the future!

I know it helped me to finally decide tonight that i am getting the Bi/Tri's:D

My brother has some Swamp witches . They are like the mst except way cheaper. I think he got a set of 4 for $250 and work real good. I would have got them when I got my mudlites but they didn't have any in stock and the dealer had told me he would throw in a set of tires (that he had in stock) when I got the Rincon. I had told him that I didn't like the stock tires and the only way I would buy is if he would throw in some tires. Too bad he didn't have the outlaws, they cost me $570 when I got them.
