Hey guys. I just bought this bike and when I'm riding through the yard and let off the throttle I hear this rattling sound. Sounds like its right under me coming from the engine. Is this normal with a Polaris or what?? I don't want to mess up anything.

somewhere around your right knee? mine has done it from day one.

yeah that sounds like the right area. I thought it might have something to do with the engine braking or something?? Not really sure.

its the EBS.

its a one way bearing on the primary that slows the bike down when the drivetrain is turning faster than the motor.

you will also notice a "clunk" in the trans when you let off the gas and the hit it again.

and yes, thats all normal.

I got the little bracket that goes over the top of the battery tight. Now my exhaust heat shield is rattling like crazy!! I guess I'll get Parttime to help me tighten it up since I can't find the bolts or screws that hold it on.:D

Just a suggestion, use new screws along with red loktite on the heat shield. Took me a few times to get it right after having the shield off when I attempted to wrap the pipes with that DEI Header Wrap. That was a big waste of $50.

it done real good in the pond, but that one hole you got stuck and i got stuck in going after you that i had been playing before you got stuck, durn if it aint goina cost me,rear brakes problem and three tires are now flat they are all leaking around the rims.guess that popo has to much power,so much that i need to invest in some beadlock wheeels, never thought i'd ever say something of that caliper before, until i started riding Polaris's.lol dont worry honda guy's ya'll want ever have to buy no beadlocks because it take HP to need them.LOL
