they dont make a hawkeye anymore.

polaris renamed all their bikes and now everything is a sportsman. the hawkeye is now the sportsman 300. they dont even make the 700 anymore except in a 2 up model.

and im sure if paul dont have one for the previous year model hawkeyes he could in a week or 2.

I'm sure they would, but I need a machine to design it from and like I said, no one i know has one, everyone I have ever riden with rides a full size machine. If we get one on the show this season to review, I'll take a look at building one for it.

The show had some very hard times, being that it is a new show, it is not a profitable show at all, in fact, the 2 guys that own, produce, edit, do pretty much everything put a lot of money into it the first season with hopes of haveing a better season EVERY season there after. What happened was they had everything, I mean EVERYTHING stollen. One of the guys was also teaching a class at a local college and he had his suburban loaded up with all of their filming gear, a 27' enclosed brand new trailer attached, with tons of stuff inside, riding gear, wheels tires helmets, all kinds of sponsor products, and ATV and the pricks came and stole it all in one shot in broad daylight. All they ever got back was the trailor and even that was a hassel since the prick that had it said it wasnt the trailer in question, but he gave it up pretty quick when the one show guy mentioned calling the RCMP about it.

So basically, the show WILL be back and better than EVER, Pete and Dave (they are the owners, editors, film guys, producers etc etc that make it all happen) have some GREAT ideas for this season, and some changes to make it more action packed. We are just waiting on a couple small details and we will start shooting as soon as they are all ironed out. Beleive me, I cant wait to get started, I have a blast doing it :D :D :D

Sorry guys, so far its only on the Canadian market/channels, but the goal of these guys is to get into an American market with the show. I know they have talked about getting the entire first season onto a couple DVD's and selling it, I would imagine fairly cheap too so if I hear anything, I'll let you guys know.

oh, and I'm not sure a hwkeye lift kit would be a very good idea. The hawkeye is a bt narrow for a lift unless you widen it out as well. If you put a lift on it's going to get kinda unstable.

Maybe, but the Hawkeye has a pretty stiff suspension. Nothing like the bigger sportsmans. Handles like a little sports car in comparison. I don't think 2 inches would be too bad on it.

a lift is needed for the hawkeyes for clearance and then maybe some 1" spacers.i dont think it would be to much for them.

How big is it and how much did it cost?

And when I said I wanted credit if someone uses them, all I really meant was that if someone ever asks you where you got it, you don't take personal credit for it. I'm really not that picky, but that looks sweet.
