Since there is not a Lowe's in Canada, and the locationes nearest me do not carry this item according to their web site, can anyone check out the Lowes in their area for one of these for me. I can send you paypal payment for the item, the taxes, and the shipping to my U.S. address if someone can get me one of these. This one or a similar one in the same price range would be great.
Thanks, let me know if you can help, I'm tired of makin a mess every time I clean up after doing a turkey in the deep fryer.

We ditched the fryer and got a new cooker for turkeys. Hands down this year was much better than the past. I injected one bird and did a baste and rub on another.

Thanks Vern, you got an ETA on those new axles for me yet? Maybe send it with those when they ship?
Barb, seriously, a deep fried turkey is hands down the best bird I have ever had, never dry, cooks fast, is this thing really going to make a bird taste just as good? Is the skin the same, thats the best part about the fryer????
Thanks.

Paul, I have a large family and they all flipped over this years birds done by Boilermaker. On the first turkey, I coated it with mustard, then a rub, the second I did a homemade injection. They were both better than previous years of oil frying. It didn't boil away the rub or any of the injected marinate. And yes, I was skeptical at first, but I will never go back to frying again. I can also use this cooker all year long for any kind of meat without the 35.00 cost of oil.

i had many plates of that turkey. and ill agree. it was hands down the best turkey ive ever eaten. way more juicy and had a ton more flavor than a fried bird.

Paul, axles should be here tomorrow. I will get them sent out the same day. I am going to have to look into the new fryer. How long does it take to cook an average turkey.

45 minutes to an hour depending on the size. I think its around 3 to 3-1/2 minutes per pound, and we usually do up an 18 to 20 pound bird.

Sorry, I was refering to the infared cooker. I have done dozens of deep fryed. We actually did one tailgating at a GreenBay Packer game. Security didn't like it one bit.

LOL, are you serious, the security didnt like you deep frying a turkey???? You gotta come to a tailgate party in Buffalo, full set-ups with all you can eat food, cooked right there in the parking lot with huge ass grills, etc etc, some groups of guys do the bus trips with a full sound system and DJ and everything, lots and lots of beer. Buffalo is said to have the best tailgate parties of all of them from what I've heard.

They didn't like the 2 gallons of 375 degree oil with everyone tossing football around. Big babies.
