Boilermaker is heading up that way next week for a few days of classes. What's the weather going to be like when he gets there? He's been up there a few times before, but each time it was in January and there was plenty of snow and extreme cold. How are the fall temperatures in Wisconsin?

right now it's in the low 30's in the morning, gets up to the 50s in the day, maybe a tiny bit warmer or cooler depending on the day. We're well past full colors, most of the leaves are off the ground. Most days the weather is what I call "crisp" because the air is clear with enough coolness to keep you awake but not cold enough to really get you chilled. I haven't bothered with a coat yet, but he might want to bring one along.

Deerfield is just over an hour from me, if he had the time to drive a bit I'd buy him a drink, but if he can't or doesn't want to that's cool too.

Thanks for the weather update Tim. These trips are very structured, so there is little time to get away from the schedule. Stanley appreciates the offer but I know he will decline as he doesn't drink.
