Finally got my project about 90% complete. I still like tuning in the clutch and tweaking the carb.

Thats pretty crazy dude! Have you raced some of the other big bore machines and how bad did you woop them?

Not yet but have a few races lined up so you can kinda get an ideal of what kinda power it has. I also will be ordering some nitrous jets in a day or two so I can test out the turbo with nitrous.

Now you got it snorkeled, how will the nitrous and the turbo handle being under water?

Well I hope it will hold up. The only thing that worries me is the turbo being really hot and cold water hitting it causing it to crack. I have a video of an army truck thats got a turbo and he takes it completely under water. Heres a video of it.

that sweet. to me it kinda sounds like it poppy or sputtering a little bit.

Yeah its hitting the rev limiter. I have the heelclicker weights with the most amount of weight I can add. I'm going to have to find a way to add more weight to keep the rpm's down.

I just love the way you have that machine of yours looking.I really like the black diamond plate on the back rack and I like how it's all solid colors and no stickers and the crome snorkel stacks are just plain mean looking.

I think we're going to have to see detailed photos of the setup, oh and how is it getting fuel, FI?

says a 40mm carb in his signature

Yeah I was going to put on some decals but have decided to leave it like it is.

I have some updated photos you can see here.

I have a MSD fuel pump with a mallory fuel pressure regulator supplying a 40mm carb.

what if you put the stock primary spring in it to make it engage faster which keeps the rpm's down a bit

looks good, so I guess I have a few questions if you don't mind:

Are you pressurizing your carburetor, if so how?

What does the black box with tubes in it do?

How many lbs. boost are you getting?

Did you lower your compression ratio?

I'd think much boost would definatly shorten the life of headgaskets on those twins.

I might have to try that if I can't find a way to add some weight to the heelclicker weights.

Yes the carb is being pressurized threw the float bowl with boost from the plenum.

The black box is a plenum and basically replaces the airbox and provides a place to distribute the compressed air to the float bowl, boost gauge and fuel pressure regulator. The plenum also is needed to dampen the inlet pulses from the engine.

Right know I'm running 10psi of boost but plan to lower it to around 6-7psi.

Stock compression.

I made an adjustable wastegate actuator rod this morning so I could raise or lower the boost.
