Dirtbmw20,
Do you have any pics of the bracket installed? I would like to see how high it sticks up on the bike.

Thanks!

stroker, there was a price listed within that link. I had it listed for $85.00 but I ended up selling it to my good buddy Rebel64 for $65.00 bucks, shipping included.

Tex, NO, I don't have any of that particular bracket installed, that bracket was not for my bike, it was built to sell. I HAD mine at a 13 degree angle (which I took off and sold to re-do mine) and my wife's (redchickabee) is at a 65 degree angle so you could look at those pics and see what they look like. It sits at a 30 degree angle so all you have to do is get a flat piece of board or something similarly flat and put it at a 30 degree angle on your front box lid and that will tell you how high it will stick up. The fans are so HUGE on the twin bikes that I don't think it matters WHAT angle you put it at, you won't be able to use your center headlight. I sold that bracket to Rebel64 and I'm positive that when he gets it installed he will post some pics so we can see how high it sticks up.

I can get out to the garage this afternoon and take a few pics of the bracket sitting on the rack to give you a good representation, but I haven't started tearing into the bike to remove the rad just yet.

LMAO at stroker. It's alright brotha, it only gets worse from there and goes downhill, lol, lol. Nah, just picking at ya man. Yea, I build them and sell them. I am having some problems with my saw right now, it don't want to cooperate with me but I'm gonna fix that this weekend. I'll be back in business by next week. Just on average, they range anywhere from $65.00 to $100.00 bucks.

No problem man, I'll take care of ya. Yes, I do use paypal and actually prefer it but I will accept other means of payment too. And yes, just shoot me a PM or post back here in a week or so. I gotta work THIS weekend (dammit) but I will have the next four weekends off so it won't be a problem getting it done in the next two weeks. I can make it sit at pretty much any angle you want, if you prefer it to sit up higher or a little lower then let me know, the one that Rebel bought is about the perfect height in MY opinion but some like to put their snorkels directly behind the radiator and I can stand it up at about a 65 degree angle so you can do that, just let me know if you have any specifics such as that. I'll work on my saw this Sunday and see if I can figure it out.

That radiator fits in that one pretty dam tight. When you get your radiator out, stick it in there and see how tight it is, I don't think you'll be able to Linex the thing unless you leave the inside undone so the radiator will still fit in it, maybe just do the outside of it in Linex. Even powdercoating it would be REAL tight, I just assumed it was going to be painted. I would put a couple coats of flat black on there and let it ride.

Ok Lee thanks. I hadn't thought of how tight it will be in there. Flat black with some satin overcoat looks like the best bet. Cheaper also.
Think I should do that with the snork pipes too?

Yep, I was thinking the same thing about the snorkel pipes, I would do them flat black also, especially with some satic overcoat, I think that would look kick ass !!!!!

NO, unfortunately I don't have my chop saw fixed yet. I do have a buddy coming over tomorrow with a band saw so we can cut some lengths of metal up. I've also got a bid on a horizontal bandsaw on ebay that ends in about 5 days. I'm getting there, just slower than expected. Money is kinda tight right now.
