Wow, that has a ton of power for a SXS. I have seen a ton ov RZR video's doing it but they seem to always have people hanging off the back. This video was with no extra weight that I can see in the back and with two people seated.

Seems the market is ready for a new look all these look the same but power on this is crazy...only problem with Acat is their bushings are poor in quality have several friends that have Acat's and bushings, shocks, seals, bearings & tie rod ends have left them setting at home when we plan to ride

Can't be. The laws states that sxs's are limited to a set amount of power. The RZR bypassed this law because it's actually classified as a ATV, not a UTV like the Rhino, Prowler, Teryx and Ranger. Anything over 50" wide falls under the UTV badge and is limited to what power it can put out from the factory.

That's not saying that the factory can't limit the power by doing something really dumb and easy to remove by the consumer to unlock the engines true power.

well considering he put a question mark behind it, I would assume it is merely a guess.

I don't know anything about laws and such, just looked up this info:

The heart of the new Prowler XTZ 1000 is a fuel-injected , 90-degree twin cylinder, hemispherical combustion chamber, single overhead cam (SOHC), with four valves per cylinder. Displacement is 950 cc, which makes it the current king of UTV engines. The engine gurus at Arctic Cat developed it for maximum torque with two valves per cam lobe and forked rocker arms. Arctic Cat claims 188 ft. lb. at the crankshaft. and a rumored 70+ horsepower. The 90-degree angle of the cylinders is an ideal balance to minimize vibration since each cylinder offsets the other. Parallel twin designs like what you find in the Polaris RZR need extra counter-balancing for their twin cylinder 760cc.

The Thundercat has 65hp, not 70. Therefore so does the Prowler.

i took a stock out of the crate tcat for a blast at the dealer here and let me tell you in high range from a dead stop on dry ashphalt it broke the back tires loose and fish tailed down the road if i moved my weight back some for traction it stood right up on the bumper again in high range i never even bothered to check low to be honest but i assure your its a beast

I was at Bass Pro shops this morning for the 5 hour sale and they had a few of those there. An orange 1000 and an all black 700. I was chattin with the saleman and he said the 1000s are too much for the chassis and are hard to handle, if he were to buy one he'd go with the 700. Just what he said, he coulda been a puss for all I know lol. Sharp looking rigs for sure.

Another thought...wouldn't a bunch of weight in the back end of the bed make it easier to wheelie?I wouldn't doubt that was part of the equation also.

Looks like alot of weight in the rear and that guy has the drop the front end and hit the gas tecnique down really nice. Still very impressive
