I need a "lift kit" for my 2004 Polaris trail boss 330 2x4.

Is there something available for this bike, if not how can i custom make one.

Since i dont have cv 's i want to go as high-up as possible.

With the addition of a lift kit and maybe some HID'S for night riding I probably got the most tricked out trail boss EVER.

Some one please help me complete my monster 2X4..LOL

Also, any info you have on the best Hid Kit would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi, WELCOME to the forum.
Does your trail boss have the MacPhearson front struts like a Sportsman? If it does, i have a nice 3" lift kit for your front end, but I dont have a kit for the rear of a Trail Boss yet.

sweet.ill have it anodized in blue also, if possible.

Let me a ask you, is the 3" lift 3" or not.
I measured the "2"lift my friends 500 & 700 from HL and measures 1-5/8".

Is this true?

How much is the damage for your product.

Thanks for the quick responce.

Shady, YES, RubberDown's lifts are true to height. His 2" is a true 2" and his 3" is a true 3" lift. Your buddies didn't measure true because he had that piece of shit High Lifter lift on his bike, their lifts SUCK. When you compare them to a RubberDown lift, they REALLY SUCK !!! The quality of the RD lift is unreal, you will be amazed and your buddy will be jealous, lol. I'll leave the pricing to RD on his own lifts. Here is a pic of the 3" lift I got from RD, anodized blue just like you want yours, this is a true 3" lift.

Those look SICK.

yEAH I thought it sh!*ty the way they advertise a 2" and give you 1-5/8".
It happened to both my buddies. 1- HL KIT AND 1- sUPER atv
Both the same..Go figure.

Since i got your attention,

At what point would i need to apply spacers to my bike.
Does it go to the front/back or both ?????

Even when i purchase this lift, How do i manage to rig thr rear to lift???
Any ideas.

I appreciate your feedback..Thanks DUDE

Yea, I thought they looked kick as when I got them in the mail too, needless to say, I was overly pleased, the quality is really unsurpassed, you won't find a better lift for a Polaris, that's for sure.

As far as the spacers, you should only need spacers (I'm assuming you are referring to wheel spacers) if you are going with a really wide tire on the factory rim. I have 28" Outlaws on ITP wheels and I don't have to have spacers because the rims have the correct offset.

I'm not really sure on the REAR lift, I don't have any experience with the trail boss nor do I know anybody that ownes one that I can look at.

Whats the schedule for riding their now. I was told the left side of the levy was closed day and night for hunting season until the end of january?

If so, Were are the good trails to the right of the levy which is supposed to be accesible year round.

What can you tell me ?

Last I heard hunting season was over 2 weeks ago.I have'nt been out there in about 2 months but someone who rides there weekly posted over at HL forum that all is back to normal for the day riding.I was going to go out this past weekend but got busy doing other things.

From what I know the left side was closed during the day until 6 PM and then closed again at sun-up during hunting season.I guess thats why those guys were doing night rides out there.

Yeah i've been doing some short night rides out where I live because I can get away with it out there.I ride the canal banks all the way up shotgun road to orange drive then to flamingo road and then back, nice little hour ride no mud holes or anything but it's just great to get out and take a little ride evry other night or so.

Are you putting a lift kit on for looks or for GC? unfortunately, the SRA doesn't allow a lift kit to help with GC.
I'm sure Paul can figure out something to lift your rear end though. It should just be as simple as relocating the shock mount, and then you might need to adjust the chain. If you go with bigger tires you might want to put a different sprocket on to give you more torque.

i want both looks and the all necessary ground clearance. The lack of 4x4 means i gotta go in the pit full blown....if i wanna get thru...

RD IS GONNA HOOK IT UP WITH THE FRONT..AS FOR THE REAR , IM STILL LOOKING FOR THE MIRACLE LIFT I NEED...
