I have a chance to buy a new Polaris front bush bar for 50% off but it is labled to fit 2004.5 & i have a 04. Will it still fit?

yes. i think the difference between the two is just the ecm.

and the digital fuel gauge, and something else but I cant remember what it was....

Will not fit. Different front end. All different front drive line. Differnt part numbers on most of the front end. You could probably dill hole in the brackets and make it work.

that wierd. my dad had a 04 500 and it had a digital fuel gauge and the hole bike. what is the difference between the front on rivens bike and rd bike.

If it has the digital fuel gauge then it is a 04.5 model. 04 had the out board hubs and the 04.5 has the in board hillard clutch.

My 03 700 has the in board hillard clutch and so should Rivens 04 600. I think you are comparing 500's right? And I'm pretty sure the the front ends on the 04 and 04.5 are the same but could be wrong. The only thing different is like the fuel gauge and may a couple other electronics.

On the 600 it is the same. Sorry , I got reading and got stuck on the 500 question. 600 and 700 are the same from 03 to 04.5
500s changed in 04.5
