how to post pics without photobucket

how can i post pics without making a new photobucket account. i have a yahoo and a putfile account and do not want to make another one. some help please.

Have you tried it from the putfile or yahoo photos yet? I havent tried it yet myself, but heres a tip, put the img tag down, then go to your pic and right click on it and that will let you see the properties, copy the URL in the properties and past that next to the img tag, then at the end of the link you just pasted, put the closing /img tag and see if that works.


Or, just hang on another day or 2....or 3 and we should have a vbulletin forum so you can load them from your hard drive much easier than this photobucket way 8)

Yeah RD, the img tags "should" work with any image as long as it's on the web and you know its url. That's how I posted the pics I did earlier.

To anyone who's interested, You can use the img button at the top of the reply form or type it in yourself.
It will look like this in the reply form either way: http://whatever image you want

Your pic link must have .jpg or similer at the end for it to work.

Popo, it may have something to do with the permissions you have set up on your yahoo account. When I try to right click and view your image it take me to the yahoo site and says "You don't have permission to get the requested URL from this server". That's why it's not letting the site display it. May need to put it in a public folder if you have that option.

Just click on the URL link by you pic & copy it. paste here, highlight it & click Img button.

I'll change that html thing for you, but to be honest, I have tried to use my yahoo photos on certain forums, and some forums it has worked, but others it has not. You jusy may be FORCED to use a photobucket account afterall.....sorry dude.
