View Full Version : Awd ?
Yesterday I noticed my POPO would not go into AWD when in Reverse gear. I had to push the reverse override button for the AWD to engage. Is this normal?? I thought you could just put it in AWD without pushing this button when in reverse gear.

Typical Male. Did you read the owners manual. That is the way Polaris's work in reverse. I sell a nice reverse overide kit. It will eliminate the use uf the button.
Actually I did read the book and it said nothing about having to use the button for the AWD to engage in reverse unless I missed it. What does me being male have to do with anything????

Yea...Polaris had to keep the stoopid people safe :twitch:
That switch is a real pain in the azz especially when trying to back out of a hole while hanging off the front :bounce:
Or when trying to use the winch while digging someone out!
The rev override mod on mine also lights up the "work" lights....saves me from riding around with them on and have people yell at me
I love my reverse overrride switch and its really easy to install.

You definitely missed it, it is in the owners manual, on page 37. Here it is copied and pasted from the owners manual.
Mode/Reverse Override Switch
This vehicle is equipped with a reverse speed limiter system. To gain
additional power while backing, depress the override switch.
NOTE: The override switch also allows activation of All Wheel Drive in
reverse, if the AWD switch is on. This switch is also used to toggle
through the modes of the rider information center. See page 44.

LMAO..... actually there is. There is a picture of the handle bars and all the controls on that page. Maybe the pic just didn't catch your attention, that's all.
Yeah there was a picture and little bitty note telling about the AWD system in reverse. I must have just missed it the first time.
