Hi Guys,
My RDC spacers came in today so I stripped off the stock tires and rims. I installed the spaces (that fit perfectly (thanks Paul)) and have my tires in the back of my truck. I will drop them off at the tire shop in the morning and hopefully install my Mudzillas tomorrow. (pics once done)
Was looking down from my fender extension and can see the spacer. This tells me she will be throwing alot of mud at me in the spring.
Does anyone know of a wider fender extension for the Outlander 800. An extra inch might make a big difference.........that's what the wife says anyways...

Might be just me...but isn't getting covered in mud a big part of the fun?
I mean...if we wanted to play in the mud...but stay completely clean...wouldn't we all be riding in enclosed SUV's or something like that?

Suck it up princess LOL. I get covered when I ride, only time it really bothers me is when I'm riding 2-up and just trying to take it easy.

You have bought big, aggressive mud tires to play in the mud. Now you want to stay clean while doing it?! OK? Maybe you could paint the wife in latex before each ride then peel her out of the rubberized suit when U are done! Bingo! Clean-No-Mud!! lol and what fun it would be too! lol. You gotta take pics though, ya know, before and after pics and post them here so we can make fun of U!

mud + beer = BAD!
An occasional water hole might clean you right up? :whoo:

LMAO!
Good comments guys! The inch my wife is referring to has nothing to do with my quad!
I am use to getting muddy and am not expecting to stay clean, just don't want to need a fire hose to clean up after a ride.
My last bike was a Polaris 500X2 and when I installed the "body armor" it is actually a tube frame that fits around bike. It reduced the amount of mud it threw from the fronts.
My Outty is an XT-P and has the standard fender extensions. I was just trying to find an aftermarket or different manufacture that might be a bit bigger than the stock ones.
Dropped the tires off this morning and my buddy told me his "tire guy" called in sick. So will have to see if he gets his hands dirty and does my tires.

Nah...the mud just makes the beer a little crunchy.
Drink faster and you don't have to worry about it as much.

MOOSE fender extensions.,..
atleast an inch wider than stock....
I was looking at the 2010 can ams today, and it looked like the stock fender extensions were a bit wider than the older ones, but i will say close to an inch wider with the moose extensions..
