Does anyone on here have 27x12x12 Bighorns on their ATV/UTV?
If so...could you measure the height of them for me?
I know the 26" Bighorns run tall...just curious how the 27" measure up.

I have 27x12x12s on the back of my X2. I'll try to remember to measure them tonight.

Quick question how does the 500 handle the 27" bighorns? do you need to clutch it or are you fine without? I also would not mind going this route over the 26's..

You'll be fine without the clutch kit on a 2007.

the 27's we had on a 500 were close to 28 tall...

If that's true then that is the way I probably want to go.
I could get the Bighorn knockoffs in larger sizes...but they only come in 14" wheel size and i already have a set of 12" wheels that I'm going to use.

I just measured mine. As they sit on the bike they are only measuring 26", maybe a touch under. But that's also on an 8" wide rim, and my tire pressure is very low right now.

Those tires look much more rounder than the big horns. One of the great things about the bighorns is that they have a fairly square profile, which keeps more rubber in contact with the ground. Those tires look like a more traditional balloon type tire

They are not a radial tire. Could that give the rounder profile?
As an unknown brand the price is rather high. IMO

If they made a 28x12x12 I'd give them a try.

28x12x12 Gators run about an inch short. My dad has them on his Foreman and they are at least an inch shorter than the 28x12x12 MudLites that were on my Rincon.

Besides...the Gator isn't really much of a "trail" tire.

Worked well for my trails- but no sand up here- all hills & mud!

I was going to say check out Motosport Alloys for their EFX MOTO-MTC tire. But it only comes in 26x14
http://www.motosportalloys.com/9/tires/big/mtc.jpg
Or their MOTO-350 but the 350 is a WANDA like MBRP atv guy posted.
You all think these tires could possible be of OK quality if MSA is selling them????

Ok..old post bumped back up.lol.
Don't have the Polaris any longer...and have 26" bighorns for trail tires on the Rhino.
They run almost 27" tall...and work great for the intended use.
I wish the radial laws were just a little more aggressive. Then I could stick with just one set of tires/wheels...and not have to swap out when going mudding.
