Well i know allot of people dont like the dobeck fuel programmers but i made good use of one. I know allot of people run slipons with out any fuel programmers without being to lean. However my 2010 was lean. I had a lean spot at around 5-8 mph. It was lean even with stock muffler but worse with hmf. So i thought i would throw my old dobeck on and add a little bit of fuel on the low end dial and see what would happen. Low speed miss/sputter is completely gone and my power is better off the line. The mid and top end dials i only added just a little bit of fuel. My settings are 3,3,3,4:30. 4:30 on the last setting keeps the transition between mid and top just like stock. So if anyone else has this miss on there 2010 and doesn't want to by a pc3 or pc5 this will fix the problem.

I did the same thing on my bike. I had the same exact miss/sputter when it was stock (very slight) and after adding the HMF it got really bad, to the point I thought I was running out of gas. I bought a new HMF gen 3 optimizer and adjusted it and the miss/sputter is gone. Better throttle response and it has more power.

People swear by the PCIII and PCV but mostly because they are the only programmers that can take away fuel below the factory setting if your running rich. If your running lean a Dobeck or HMF optimizer will fix the problem at 1/4 the cost of the PC models.

I love mine even more because it only cost me 25.00 new. Need to adjust on it a bit more but it's still going strong.
