Actually, I did most of it, then after I did the neighbours driveway, I put the car and the truck next door and she finished it off for me. I love watchin her plow snow ;)
Damn look at that snow!! No wonder you say you hate me when see me in a picture with shorts & a tee shirt & flops.

Yeah I hate ya too Turk!!! ;) It's a balmy 22 degrees here now.
Paul, great pics of your wife out there cleaning up for you. I just can't seem to find the motivation to get out to the garage and install the plate for my plow just yet. Oh well, after a few trips up and down the driveway in my truck, it now at least has a path beaten down.
It's 77 here today,windy & overcast.

I plowed what, 4 hours ago, I gotta go do it again, theres probably another 6 to 8 inches in the driveway all over again :)
Rebel, all I do it pull the 2 bolts up front below the rad screen and bolt in a little part I made, then I drive over top of the plow push tube, pt the end of it on the hitch ball and connect the hinge bracket to the part I bolted to the front. It takes me about 15 minutes to do it the first time because I gotta let the air compressor fill up, then find the tools I need and away I go. Every time after that, its about 3 minutes to remove the plow and put it back on. I keep planning to add a ball to the back of my push tube so I can pull the trailer around front with the plow still on the quad but I keep putting it off.

I gotta look at my glacier II plate again very soon...I do know that once it is on it is very simple to drive on to the blade, and then roll out the winch rope.
But that was last year while I still had on the stock PXTs, with no lift. Things might have changed since then!

ruby, I'm in Niagara Falls
Rebel, I'm using the wife 400 sportsman with no lift and 26" polaris tires, it sucks compared to mine with a lift and bigger tires.
Riven, we have gotten easily over a foot today and I think its just now slowing down. Now its just blowing into the driveway again.

$500 wouldnt cover a store bought plow, your probably looking at about 700 and change out the door here in Canada.
This is why I and everyone locally I know and ride with have built our own.

when the plows come on sale at canadian tire, 500 is about what they come to. if they have them in stock.

Um...yes we were, it was about 30 hours from my house to the gates at mud creek, we drove non stop except to eat and get gas. Once we were in Texas, we did some shopping, at a couple stores, and we had a nice sit down supper at the Pizza hut where we did our shopping. It was probably only about 26 hours of driving but it total'd 30 in each direction.
On the way home we were lucky enough to drive right through a tornado in TN I think.

Nope, only been that one time to do some filming for a TV show up here in Canada called All Terrain Television. The producer footed the bill and brought himself and me and 2 other test pilots down to ride, film, compete and have a great time. Things have changed with certain people involved with the nats so I likely wont go again unless I have a HUGE Canadian race team with me to watch my back ;)

The first season was on Bell Expressvu on the outdoor network and WILD TV, we still havent got the second season off the ground yet, but the show took some pretty bad hits with a major theft of .... well... of EVERYTHING :(
I hope we get some snow here in NC this winter. I want to ride around with the POPO and pull a sled behind me. I did that back when I bought my Rancher and MAN I had some fun that winter!!! Luckily it snowed that year.
A little change in temp here today. It's 52 this morning and it's so nice.

Thats a good deal. Mine cost me a grand total of ....around..... its been a while so I'm thinking..... maybe $150 pluse the time to build it. I just added proper ATV plow springs to it, I had a garage door spring cut in half and I was using that, it wore out in a day so I had to put a rachet strap on it to keep it up-right. Now its perfect.
Sad thing is that I now have to make another one for my boss's 06 500X2. At least I will be doing most of it during work hours...

Thats the best way to build things LOL Thats how i built 99% of my plow. After the boss saw mine he had me make one for the fork truck so the guys could clean the yard when the plow guy did not show.
It weighs 600 lbs & is 5 feet wide

That was nice of him to do that for you.
We got a couple inches here as of last nite/this morning, but that's all we're supposed to get. Just enough to make things sloppy and wet out there again.
