-Lift front end of the ATV with a jack or stand of some sort.
-Remove front tire
-Remove axle nut before you remove the brake caliper, then remove brake caliper

-Remove outer tie rod mounting bolt

-Remove upper and lower Ball Joint Pinch Bolts

-Slide the hub off the end of the outer CV joint

-Slide a steel spacer onto the end of the CV joint, a little anti seize is a good idea

Now put everything back together in reverse order and use the newly supplied axle nut with the deeper castle grooves.

what is the problem that this mod is suppose to help do???? just wondering.

Keeps the axles from pulling out of the front diff. Not always a problem, but apparently some have had the issue. I put them on my Dad's cat just to be safe.

stricker is correct, when you install a lift kit on the Cats, I've heard taller than 2", there my be a chance that the front inner joint may pull out of the diff. These axle spacers just help keep them pushed in when a lift kit is installed.
