I just called and cancelled a credit card and the woman tried her best for about 10 minutes to keep me as a cardholder!!! I mean if I call and want to cancel the damn thing thats what I intend to do. She started out all jolly and wanting to hold a conversation with me and when I told her why I called her tone changed dramatically. She tried to give me all of these offers and what not and I just kept saying NO!!! I was really getting angry and started to tell her where she could stick the damn credit card:shocked:. These credit card companies ain't nothin but a bunch of crooks in my book.

Sorry bout all this nonsense guys but I just had to vent for a minute after my little one minute cussing I gave my phone just now.:D

Hey buddy, been there/done that and I know exactly how you are feeling.
I'm glad I don't have one single credit card any longer.

I just got one today. I don't like to use them ever, but they are a necessity now days. If you ever need to rent a car you have to have one, plus many other things.

Credit cards are great, as long as you make your payments!
I have 2 and my parents use them all the time. There are a lot of benefits with using them.

I hear yea on the stupid phone people always trying to keep you as a customer, I just switched insurance companies and when I told them I was switching the lady wanted to have a half hour chat. Pain in the as:frusty:

Just don't EVER get one unless you absolutely need it! I curse the day I ever filled out a credit card application.LOL

kkk.. i dont plan on it. depends on wat feild of work i go in to. if i have to travel i might get one
