Do you make a small lift for an outlander 800? If not are you working on one or is it a pain in the arse with the trailing arms?

I've never looked close enough at one to even know if it would be a pain in the but. But at this time, its NOT in the works, I have the BF in the works, and another little "bling" project on the go.

Sorry.

Oh, welcome to the forum ;)

29.5s will fit on an outlander stock. Some people have had there headlight buckets rub some and have installed pipe lifts on the front. Mine didn't rub at all though so you just have to try I guess.

I helped a buddy with his Outty 800 and we put HD springs in his front and rear. When you unbolt the shocks from the control arms, they can't drop anymore than where they are. I'm not sure what would be involved to lift them, but it would take more tha just a spacer on the top or bottom of the shock.

What he has done is fabbed up a set of HPG shocks and used trial and error with springs to get it to ride the way he wants. It isn't lifted, but there is no sag at all and the ground cleanace is where it SHOULD be.

Ridge rides with me. I think he's jealous of my 2" RD lift I have on my X2. He's just trying not to get stuck...again!!! I guess those 28" swamplites just didn't help him out of the thick stuff!!! That's too bad. The combo of the RD lift and my new 27" Bighorns let me sail right past him!!! GO RD!!:canada:

Sad to say that for the first time I've known him, x2rider is right, I am jealous of his ride. Great lift kit RD!! I have the 28" swamplites and very heavy duty Works shocks all around which helps w/ ground clearence for about 2 plus inches over stock. But when we rode a week or so ago I got stuck, winched out and then x2rider rode through the place where I was and made it. Ground clearence was the key!!

Paul, I couldn't agree with you more. But, it may also have something to do with riding style too...BALLS TO THE WALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ya, balls to the wall with 800cc's dug a hole real quick, your 500 floated through (putted through). It's all about the lift:blah:
