Ok right now I have the 2" lift from those "other" guys, along with 4 axles from Turner, Ranger springs in front, and the HL springs in the rear.

Would I have any issues with axle lengths if I was to upgrade to the 3" lift?
I've decided not to even pursue the 4" lift from Turner or Stateline because that would put me in a different class and not about to compete with the big boys running the huge lifts.

sorry to tell you but I'm fairly certain the 2" lift from that "other" place is only about a 1-1/2 to 1-5/8" lift. and there rear is only a 1-1/2" since thats about all you can lift them. I dont know why they market it as a 2" but whatever...

As for my 3" lift in the front, stock length axles seem to work, Polaris700, Dirtbmw20 and I think even one of Bigdogs machines are all running it with stock length gorilla's. I'll be putting mine in this week with stock length gorilla's.

BTW, what did the Turner axles cost you for the front?

Ok, yeah I know it's not a true 2" lift, but just wanted to be clear on what I have on it.

What mod to you have to accomidate for my Ranger springs, and is your 3" lift all the way around, or just in front?

I paid $365 for each of his axles.

the 3" kit I have is only for the front, and it only works with stock axles. For the guys that want a 2" lift in the front and have front Ranger springs, I give them a front 2" ranger kit to accomodate the larger diameter Ranger springs. I do have a peice of aluminum on my desk at work long enough to make you a pair of 3" ranger sprinmg spacers but they would run you a few extra $$$ than the 3" kits I have now. I think I charge around $90 U.S. shipped fo5r a regular 3" front kit, but for a 3" front Ranger kit, it would be $99 U.S. shipped and it would take me a few days to get into the shop and make them.

Ok, I don't mind the extra $ at all, but why don't you have the lift for the rear also?

you can only make a 1-1/2" lift for the rear of these things with all stock components, if you wanted to get higher, you would need longer axles, a-arms etc etc. Those are high dollar kits as you know, sao I steer clear of that stuff.

Ok, so I guess I should just stick with what I have on now and press on with other mods then. Just was seeing if I could get more of a lift without putting the bike into a different class. Thanks for your help Paul.

no problem, let me know if you need a 3" front kit and I'll set you up.

Just might do that. But would the front be higher than the rear after it?

maybe just a little but, but IMPO, thats what gets you out, not getting hung up on the front end.

Maybe Eric and Lee will chime in here and give you there toughts with the front 3" kit so far....

Good point. Might give Lee a shout later on the phone if he doesn't show back up here.
Wonder if his ears are burning yet? ;)

The 3" kit we are installing is going on a 04 polaris 700. I have built a couple of these now useing newer a arms and axles. The 05s have longer a arms than the 04. So we take the onger component and install them on the older machines. The last one with 2" lift and 28" tire had 17.5 inches of ground clearance. With a 3" front lift and 29.5s on it should be at 19.5

Wow! You think I'll be ok with just changing out the HL front lift and replacing it with Pauls 3"?

What would it take to run a bigger lift on the rear? Since he's running Turners?

Rebel, I'm running Paul's 3" on my 800 and it looks awesome. Made a huge difference. I ran stock axles for about an hour and broke one- I'm sure it was my fault though. Now I am running Gorillas and have not had a problem one. IMO the 3" RD lift is well worth the money.

Glad to hear that man!
Are you running any lift on the rear of your bike?

I am running the Rubberdown 1.5" rear lift. The front is a little higher than the rear, but I still need to adjust my springs up. I think it may be close to level once I make the adjustment.

Ok, I'm sure mine would be the same way then with that lift up front too. My rear springs are set at the lowest level, so there would be plenty of room to level it out also.
Yep I can see getting this product in the near future.
