Got a question I already have a glacier I plow system on my 07 500 efi with the 56in blade and was wanting to switch to the polaris v-blade can I use the plow frame from the blade I have now and just switch it to the v-blade or do I have to buy a whole new frame. Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the forums millfire.
I havent seen the plows you are using or wanting to change too, but it sounds like one is actually shaped like a V, right? Wouldnt the blade need to have a frame that matched that blade shape?
I just use a home made plow, actually just made another one for my boss at work. Much cheaper, but they obviously dont look as nice....

The only V plow I seen in the book is the two way winged plow. If that is what you are looking at they would be the same frame. I can't find a Vplow in my books.

Hi,
From your earlier post below, you mentioned you wanted the Polaris V-Plow. Did you get it? I am considering the same - moving from a straight 60" plow to the V-Plow. Are V-Plows better for deeper and/or hard pack snow? Will they make it easier to plow through the deep drift at the end of my driveway that the county road plows leave?
What are the pros/cons of a v-plow versus a straight blade plow?
Thanks,
Shawn

What's a plow and what you use them for on a ATV?
Down here we plow the fields to plant our garden.... but never heard of this with a 4 wheeler....
