Im buying my HID lights this week, but im undecided on which colour to go with. Ive been told 4600k is the whitest brightest true light. 6000k is popular and has a slight blue shade to it, and the 8000k are noticable blue. The guy at the store said he only runs the 8000k, and claims it is the brightest nicest colour. Im getting a set for my bike, and truck. which one should i go with? Im thinking 6000k in both but would like to hear what some of you guys think. Thanks.

The higher you go the bluer you get. I can't remember if I'm running 8 or 10, but I'm pretty happy with them. I believe the 6000K isn't going to be very blue at all actually.

I run 6k in my truck, and love them. Just a nice bright white with a bit of blue to it. I don't like them too blue.

I went with the 8000's and love them, can't see the blue at all when riding.

I have the 10K's and although they have a blue tint when looking at them (don't look too long...ouch ouch ouch), they appear to be just blazingly bright when you're behind them. They're pretty wicked when there's snow on the ground too...instant daylight!

back before ontario got gay and we were street racing every weekend weather it be straight line or twisty back road 6000's were the most popular but things could have changed, higher up and it just got to blue in my opinion

Yeah, on my truck i had to adjust them down a bit. I still get flashed ALOT when i have the trailer hooked up and loaded. When i run down to texas i bring the screw driver so i can aim them down a little once shes loaded up. Kind of a pain in the ass, but damn is it worth it.

It was really foggy last night, so i didnt get a chance to see their true potential. But WOW, compared to stock lights these are awesome. I dont think ill ever run a vehical without them now. Deffinatly one of the first things i will be adding to my new truck!
