New rig

Well here is my new rig and I get it on Friday. It arrived last Friday and is sitting at the back of my dealer’s lot.

My 06 GMC is getting a little high in mileage and its time to go. I would have bet a very large amount of money that I would NEVER drive a Dodge. I only test drove one to be fair. My mind was made up it was between Ford and GM.

Well Well..........who would have thought. This truck is just so sweet!

The 2010 GMC seems to be less of a truck than my 06 and the 2010 Ford just feels like a really heavy "made for towing" truck with a small interior.

All three were nice trucks, but this one suits my needs best. (Tow around my quad 8 or 10 times a year and driving all over Ontario looking at construction work.)

I think you will be happy I came from a long line of "Chevy Guys" and switched to Dodge a few years back and have been real impressed with them and even some of my diehard Chevy and Ford buddies admit they don't mind it. My 2009 is certainly my favourite so far though rides nice and some decent get up and go does everything I need it to do.

My 99 Ram is starting to give me some minor problems occasionally, but I can't stand the thought of a payment, so I'm holding on to her as long as I can.

I'm not much of a Dodge fan but it sure is a nice looking truck, I like the way they frenched the bumper to clear the tailpipes on the factory duals.

I've got a 2004 Ram Quad Cab and I have to say it's the best truck I've ever owned.
You'll definitely be happy with it.
My Dad drives a Z71 and a Duramax(and has had about a dozen other bowtie trucks) and is constantly saying how much better he likes the interior of my truck and how it rides.

I bought mine new in 2004 and also test drove the Chevy and Ford.in 2004 the only way you could get a crew cab in the Chevy was to go 3/4 ton or bigger(or go conversion) and I needed the full 4 door.The Ford Super Crew for 2004 had the 5 foot bed and I wanted a 6 foot bed.(plus the Ford rode absolutely horrible).
To top it off...the Dodge was priced well below both the Ford and the Chevy.
6 years and 125k miles later...I still don't regret the choice.
My next truck will be a Dodge Ram Crew Cab Dually 4x4...but I'll be going used(mid '07 or older) since I want the 5.9 Diesel.
