Well. I bought my outlander new, was actually one of the first in this area to buy one.
Now I know, the 12" GC was a LIE from looking at it. Well, one of my questions, I've got 26" (true size) tires on it.
I put the BRP HD springs also on it.
I have the 2" RD lift also. How is it I still have just now 12"?
Now, I am in now way asking if the rubberdown lift is at spec.
I am asking, just what did I leave out of the damn dealer with as GC.
I was told, the springs I bought were roughly an inch and a half taller than the JUNK on the stock.
Well. The springs. The 2" lift, and the preload up high and the rough ride later, along with 3 new axles,( can am did warranty) I'm curious.
How come with the angles on my axles, how do I still JUST NOW HAVE TWELVE INCHES?
Yep. My dealer is gonna like me. This next Tuesday. That's when it is going back AGAIN.

can you lift up on the bumper and get it to sit higher? if so, you're not maxed out, which is where they measure GC. good suspension should sag a bit for good handling. i ran my bike with the shocks maxed out for so long, but now i'm going to try to see how it does with them softened up a bit. i'll loose some GC, but i should gain better launching and handling on the trails. i even took the lift off the front so it sits with the nose lower than the back. i gotta see how it does with the 32's, though. i already took out the headlights, so i *think* it'll work, lol.

Yea, mines been Maxed out for a while. And I know all about the stiff ride.
Yea, when I have axles replaced again, there will be no lift on mine either.
I was really doing a little ranting, but damn. At the same time, they should definitely do better than they do!

I just installed my RDC Gen1 lift tonight with 30" silverbacks, my spring adjuster are set to 4 front and rear. Front springs are stock. I measured the GC after the install and it was 13" in the front and about 14.5" in the rear.
This thing looks like a monster with the 2" lift and the 30's, can't wait to get my clutch kit and put it through it's paces.

you're higher in the back than the front? that normally doesn't happen with the gen1 lift. your front springs are probably already sagging a bit.

Yea, those HD springs are much better. And for 60 bucks not a bad deal.

Thats exactly what I thought, I can't afford crutchfields right now so I figure the HD's from BRP will get me by until I can save up some cash for the crutchfields.
