Went out to do some fishing yesterday. Had a great time, got caught in a couple thunderstorms but the wild weather kept the fishing hot. Bagged this one during one of the sunny times, she came in about 5 pounds 7 ounces... we never catch them like this during the tourny's LOL.

LOL, I'm a killer from shore buddy, I used to go for small mouth right down by the bottom of the falls, they where 2 to 3 pounds but fought like a 5+ due to living in that current, awesome spot for smallies!

There's a spot on the Merrimack river that sounds like that. The falls are about 30 feet or so and it's nothing but rocks at the bottom, we throw live crawdads into the churning water. Smallies always grab 'em and fight like hell but we bust off alot when they drag the line through the rocks.
