Water pump seal

I just wanted to know if there is an aftermarket seal (skf/national) to replace the carbon faced water pump seal, or am I stuck with the polaris one? Thanx!

i am not aware of an aftermarket waterpump seal, not to say one cannot be found doing some legwork.

sounds like you had the same luck as me.

week old from the dealership and 4.5 hours and mine went out. dealer told me since "you put them big ole chrome wheels on it" that they wouldnt fix it under the warranty.

ill ask stanley and see where he got the one i used.

I ordrerd one from an online supplier. It was $27.00. It just takes a while for it to arrive on my doorstep from them........

Go back and ask you dealer how the "big ol chrome wheels" caused a seal to leak on the engine. If he can't prove the tires caused the problem he CAN'T denie you warranty on it. If you live in the states there is a "Magnuson Moss Act" or something that protects the consumer from just this.

I would say find another dealer to deal with. That guy is a crook!!

yeah, sad part is the dealership is supposed to be a sponsor of our bog team. our club had bought like 10 atvs from them in the previous 3-4 months. my family counted for 3 of those $7,000.00 bikes too.

but thats what the dealer turned into. they turned into "that" place that didnt want to stand behind their service. they are paying big time for it now. they have lost alot of business and are plastering "customer appreciation" day post all over the websites of clubs around here.
