Gearing up for 2010 Deer Season

Well, just got back from the farm. My Club had a workday this weekend. We put up 8 new stands bringing the grand total to 55 stands on around 2,000 acres. We only have about 40 memebers and on any given weekend, other than opening weekend and the rut in Novemeber, there may be a little as 8-10 members a weekend.

I am very excited about a new property we got this year. It has not been hunted in over 4 years. We put 2 double wides, 2 ladder stands, and 1 tri-pod on the property Saturday. We also cleared a lot of shooting lanes.

Yup. I sat sunday, saw a rabbit. There was a doe up in the trees blowing but that was all the action I got
