Is what you Yanks can expect next week. I know you guys thought it was hot last year, but this summer the heat has been a lot worse (more like it normally is). Last year we had a mild summer and the temps were not as bad as usual. This year it has been as hot as we are use to.
This was last night... Yes I said NIGHT, around 10PM. The temp was taken from my truck, driving down the road.

This is as far out as I have looked at. Looks like great weather to me. Looks like the trails will not be dusty. You may want to bring some long sleeves for any night rides. It tends to get a little cool once on top of the mountain at the overlooks.

Don't stress about rain, it rains all the time there. Mostly early moring hours. When LG and I went last time it rained every morning we were there till about 9:00 a.m. and only rained a couple times for short periods during the day rides. I would rather have a wet trail than a dusty one!

Jon sure looks like my weather guy was right a couple of weeks ago huh?
Like I said before looks like pretty much perfect riding weather for this time of year in that area. A little rain each day will really be nice just no all day rain storms.
I would almost bet it will be raining when I arrive on wednesday afternoon.

I can't say I've ever drank one of those but I would be glad to take you up on that bet so I could try one.
In case the sun is shinning you may have to drink a Natural Light or a Miller Light.

I don't know if "lots" covers that. I thought that is why you are bringing a bigger truck this time, more payload for beer.

When looking up the weather use Putney, KY. It may be the same weather report for both but Harlan, KY is a little ways off from Putney, KY. They are in the same County though of Harlan. Putney is wear the actuall camp site is.
