Screwed up weather???

Just wondering if everyones weather is a messed up as mine is this winter?

4 days ago it was -27 as it should be this time of year & tonight its +10 & raining so hard its shaking the house at times. :rain:
WTF is up with the weather?

Is it global warming or just a bad winter? Who really knows...

We had a tornado through the county west of us today.... It's January in Illinois??? What the heck is going on?? It was 62 degrees today. This is nuts.

ya it was -30 here to then all of a sudden it was +8. the night before we left florida it was just about freezing there.

It's definitely whacked out. Last week at this time the highs were in the single digits, and the last 2 days we broke record highs. I think it got to 71 yesterday. Been having really great thunderstorms since yesterday evening, got a flood watch happening all day today, and tonite there is a chance of snow. WTF?????

We had a thunderstorm here as well & some major flooding. The factory i worked at had 6" of water most everywhere in the building. We lost about 2' of snow with all the rain & many of the rivers have jumped their banks.

Great googly moogly, I can't believe it's colder here in Georgia than it is in Illinois. It's a freezing 35 here today and it's done nothing but drop, fixing to start raining and is suppose to drop to around 17-20 overnight.

Starting tonite and going into Friday nite we're supposed to get a few inches of snow, and then Saturday it's clearing up and the big drop in temps is supposed to happen. High of 8 that day so "they" say.

One thing most people don't realize is that there is a huge temperature difference between northen minnesota and southern minnesota. I remember the winter of 1996 (one of the coldest on record) there was the same number of degrees different between my home in northern minnesota and Minneapolis as there was between Minneapolis and Atlanta. It's not usually that dramatic, but there is usually a big difference.

Well, it didn't get down near as cold as they said it was gonna last night, it only got into the low 30's but it rained ALL night long and is still raining so it is miserablly cold and wet here today.

And the temp would prolly freeze up the drive in the camera anyway!

I got over 12" of snow in the last 2 days & its heading to -27 tonight.
I almost forgot what a NORMAL winter in Muskoka was like. Im not sure i like it after the heat wave we just had. A 37 degree switch in just over a week:der::jaw:

hey you wouldn't want to be here today. -30 with 50km+ winds. so the temp that we feel is -48. lotsa stuck vehicles, broke down ones and crappy to work outside. good thing i got 4x4.
