Ok, got the radiator and fan all hooked up and now the throttle cable is sticking. I went to pull it out of the garage, hit the gas and got nothing. Turned it off, wiggled the cable behind the pedal, turned it back on and it would rev up fine but it sticks and slowly idles back down. I think I've seen others w/ throttle cable issues. Anybody ever try to just put some lube on it?

What is the issue with the cable? Is it a poor design or just crap materials used to make it. You can call a company like Lokar and have them make you a cable for about $75. Stainless braided with stainless cable and aluminum or stainless ends.

it lays flat along the floor... the foot pedal end is not sealed so almost every time you ride it the cable gets wet.

Use a balloon. Small hole in the one end feed the cable through it. Zip tie it to the cable sheath and up a ways on the cable it's self.

I always seem to make it difficult on myself. I went out to run it to make sure the fan cycles ok and that it's cooling alright so I decided to take a peek at what I had in store for the throttle cable swap. I hard piped my belt intake snorkel right in front of the damn throttle body cover. So of course it's gonna way more of a pain in the ass then it needed to be. Just venting. Thanks for reading, lol.
