yes he uses them and i think he likes them alot and has not had problems from them.

Any grinding nesc for travel clearance?

At $1200 a set of 4 those best be bomb proof!

$1200 aint bad.
Mine cost me $500 each & now the company is out of business so i cant get rebuild pars.
I will be going with gorilla or turner when i need to replace mine.

cain't even imagine $500 a throw! They were only $350 each when i got my fronts 2 years back but they were 500 at last check.

I blew the crank in my bake last fall & its costing me about $1500 to fix + the $2200 ring i had to bribe my overlord with so i could spend the $1500.:dizzy:

Just wait until she hears im looking at a $2300 lift kit...

Yes, you hae to grind both the front and rear bearing carriers/struts to fit the beasts in.

I didn't take very good before shots of the struts prior to grinding, but here's the end result.

damn, you had to grind the top, sides and bottom of the strut housing to clear them?

Those pics are on a lifted machine?......

Any issues with fatigue from removing so much material?

Might have been overkill with how much I removed, but the material closest to the boot was a must, especially because of the clamp fitting.

Yeah Geo, I have a 2" lift on.
BigT was helping me out with the install, and he was confident that there would be no issues with fatigue from removing that much stock.
So far so good.
