Is a clutch kit necessary with 29.5's??

I'm thinking of getting some 29.5 Outlaws on the POPO. Is a clutch kit necessary with these?? If so what clutch kit should I get??

I would, but I really don't know what the effects would be without the kit with the 29fives.
Some people like the Heelclicker because it is "tuneable", but I just went with the EPI/HL Super Outlaw kit...or some variation of those words.
I sort of customized it also and I'm running the stronger spring in the primary from a Heelclicker kit.

Yeah I've seen a few people asking if they should do a clutch kit on their Brutes and guys are telling them they will eat up belts if they don't put a clutch kit in with 29.5's. I assume that would be the case on any machine with a belt but I'm not sure.

I think they do take away some of the strain on the belt.

mole the i am going to go ahead and put my clutch kit in with my 27's that are on there now.helps eliminate the belt slippage.i am going to do mine next weekend when we go to the shop to do your lift.i dont want alot of stall if any because it is tough on the belt and all the clutch parts

i think that would be the one.but i first would talk to cob over on the HL site because he sells them also and is the one that does the R&D for the kits.he will be able to help as far as tech support if you get it from him.
