Has anyone changed a primary clutch spring on an '07 sportsman 800 without taking the clutch off the bike?

Not on an 800 but a few 500's. Should be easy with it on. 6 bolts.

No need to pull the entire clutch to change the primary spring.

New spring in and still assessing if it's going to do what I'm looking for, but so far it does engage higher (1900-2200 rpm) and pull uphill grades better and seems to backshift better. Only one ride on the new spring, so this is all I've obsevred so far. More to come
