RD, can you make a 3" lift ?

The company that sells the 3" rzrr kit has been asked about that very kit on another forum and honestly, without bad mouthing anyone, you cant get a 3" lift on a RZR, the a-arms bearly drop enough to get a 2" kit in there without forcing them a little bit. I do know that the kit you are probably reffering to has a 2" front kit (or around there) and then also a spring spacer to stiffen the spring, and they call that a 3" lift. Well in my opinion, and from the physics I remember learing along the way with all of my design, a 2" lift on the actual shock is a 2" gain, and anything you use to stiffen the spring will just keep the shock shaft length maxed up, not lift it at all. The a-arms can only lower sooo far, and with a 2" kit, like I said, they are extended so I just dont see how a kit can be 3" UNLESS it has the a-arms maxed out even when the machin is of the ATV lift and back on the ground under its own weight. Now if thats the case, would you want your a-arms always at the max angle? With mine, they are maxed when installing the kit, once you set it back down on the ground, it will settle down on the suspension a bit and give you around a 2" lift, as well as some movement up and down on the a-arms.

Just my opinion, and a few others I have seen around the various forums as well.

I have an RD 2" kit on mine and the front is very close to maxed out with 2 inches of lift. You would never be able to get another inch in there.
