WOW what a day it has been I went to the local Polaris shop for some tune up stuff and they was havin a tent sale inside the building :whoo: well I gots to lookin and here is what I found 1 right hand foot well $35.00 1 electric fan $50.00 1 brake leaver with master cylinder $50.00 :jaw: All these parts are new and never used :happy:. The parts guy said he will be getting more stuff out soon and he will let me know first what he has :cool: So now I have some spare parts for my 06 450 Sportsman . WOW what a good day :juggle:

I love spare parts LOL, I got axles, cv's for the spare complet axles LOL, 2 spare fan motors, lots of tires, all in new condition, hubs, rear upper and lower control arls, some switches, ..... lots more but I dont remeber.... I like to be prepared when I go 4 hours up north in the bush.

No, I haven't looked anywhere for one YET. Mine works but it sure is noisy and sometimes it will just freeze up and I have to reach up there and give it the very first initial spin with my hands and then it's ok from then on. It ain't far from going completely out.

You know whats funny Tim???? I found this thread while looking for other sources to replace my now non-functional fan. LOL I jerry rigged it last night with an allen wrench, Loctite and a C clip and it lasted through this mornings final snow removal. LOL

So it's no longer going to be as loud as you or Mark remember............ Oh wait......... I don't know if Mark heard my bike run long enough to hear my loud fan.LOL

I ordered my replacement fan just now direct from Spal for $70.00 plus shipping. I am going to have to swap the shroud but at that price it's worth it.
