Went to one of the local dealers today in search of a new toy. Was going to look for a .22 or something in 9mm or .40 cal. Ended up with a Walther P22 5" with a stainless slide. I only have an internet picture and the story why to follow.
http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/images/WAP22006.jpg
After trying a couple of different .22's, Sig, High Standard and the Walther, I decided the Walther was the one I liked. The Sig Trailside I tried was nice but there is a problem. Sig sold the company that made the Trailside to Walther. That means Sig won't warranty the pistol because they no longer own the company and Walther won't warranty it because they didn't own the company when the pistol was made. On top of that, neither company makes replacement parts for it. When it breaks, it's your problem to fix it but you have to fix it with parts that are no longer available. This Sig has been sitting in this dealers display case since at least 2005. That's the last year that Sig made the Trailside before selling the company to Walther. Dealer also wanted $680 for a Target Trailside. They didn't sell for that much when they were still being made. Any way, I don't have my pistol yet because the US government is about as useful as a bag of smashed assholes. I was delayed in my background check. This is kind of funny because New York state sets a higher standard to obtain and keep your pistol permit than the federal government has to let you buy a pistol. If I have my New York State conceal carry permit, I am already above anything the feds would consider grounds to deny me from buying a pistol. What a bunch of retards. Now I have to wait as long as the first of March before I can go pick up my already paid for pistol.

That Beretta is a nice piece. Popofarmer has one and it shoots real well. Only thing I didn't like about it was the grip angle. Little to steep for me.

It is light. Other thing I liked about it is the ability to remove the compensator and install a 3.4" barrel and have a normal looking smallish pistol.

Thanks man. The break in number that I keep hearing is 400-500 rounds. Looks like there could be some issues with the top of the hammer touching the bottom of the slide wile the slide is coming forward and maybe some feeding issues caused by the mag or might need to polish the feed ramp. That's what I have read so far for issues but I will have to see how it runs when I get it.

Just an army of one my friend. There are a couple of places that could be considered bunkers I guess. One of them is 14 feet under ground. After living with in 3 miles of here for the last 32 years I am pretty sure I could make my self be not seen to the non natives for a long period of time.

CCI Mini Mags in 40 grain work great!
Also the Winchester and Federal bulk boxes do ok, but they are 36 grain and have more of a tapered nose and you will get an occasional FTF because it gets hung up on the feed ramp....the round nose CCI's ave never had a hiccup.
I want to try the Blazer bulk ammo but cant find any around here.
I need to break mine down and polish the ramp, just aint had time yet!

Thanks for the info. I have all different kinds of ammo here including some match stuff from Wolf, Ely and Federal. Lots of cheap stuff as well to get some rounds through it for break in.
