I just got a 3" RD lift for my 07 Rinny. Will I need and alignment after I put it on? Also I have about 50lbs of extra armor and winch on my machine and I am no small guy at 250. Should I buy some overloads to put on it as well? Im no hard core mudder just mostly trail rides 5 or 6 times a year and some yard duty. Your input is apprec...... Thanks

you might need an alignment. i would try turning your shocks up all the way first. also when you put the lift on the changed anle of the shocks usually makes the ride a bit stiffer to.

Can't turn the shocks up on a Rincon. You sould at least check your toe me and a couple guys that have this lift had to adjust ours. As far as overloads you should be fine , I ride 2up alot and it squats a little but with the lift the suspension geometry changes quite a bit which in turn makes the suspension a little stiffer. I have some added weight too with skids, bumpers, radio, winch, alot of gear, and a cooler full of Beer (no problems at all)!

Well when you say stiffens the ride. Explain about how much stiffer. Yeah I get the geometry thing but will it make it uncomfortable hard or still has good flex??????

Still has good flex. HL's overload springs suck. Might want to look into some Works shocks or something like the 3 way pre-load adjusters you can buy on eBay.

Mine still has good flex. If you want to associate this with #s more a second with 0 being no added stiffness and 10 being rock hard, I would say the RD makes the difference about a 2 maybe a 3. Just enough stiffer that you can tell it but not enough to affect the handling. Not to say that the handing is not affected but its b/c of the higher center of gravity and not so much the stiffness that it added. My suspension will still bottom out in the rear if I am loaded down pretty bad and I can feel the front suspension bottom out on the end of a wheelie sometimes (but not often).
