Melissa's machine is stock except for the polaris 26" tires I put on it that I got off my buddies old 800. Mine had the 1-1/2" rear lift and the 3" front lift and a set of 27" XTR's. Looks a lot bigger once I parked them next to each other....

No turk, the seat is her's, I took it for a couple solo trips just so I would have the extra storage and something nice to lean against when stopping on the trail.

I didnt want to get her the same color, but it was a killer deal whe we got it. Her first machine was a camo 330 magnum, I remember her telling we she wasnt riding a camo machine, but once she rode it, she really liked it.

I'm liking the look of the 27's.The more machines I see with 27's and 28's the more I regret getting the 26's even more since adding the front and rear lift.I'm sure I'll end up putting the 26's on my stock rims when I go to 27's or 28's.

You now what, its the best thing I ever did was get her a machine for her very own. When we just had one machine, we had to either find a sitter for our daughter or ask someone else if she could ride with them so we could go out riding together, and riding double with 2 adults just sucks, you cant play as much as you would like to. Now the wife and daughter ride together on the 400 and I can ride like an ass wheneverI want. I still ride with my daughter if its a hairy spot and the wife dont feel comfortable about having her on the back, or when the wife is working, my daughter and I ride together.

Yeah we've tried that.We both agree it's better with one adult person per machine.
