Having some trouble with the rear axles on my outlander popping out. I've put probably 1200kms on the bike or more with the Gen 2 lift now. About 6 months ago I had the left rear axle popping out on me while riding, usually in rough terrain. I contacted paul at that time about getting longer axle shafts for my Gorillas but I ended up finding out that they were plenty long, so I replaced the c clip on the axle and it was alright for another 4 months or so.
Now, naturally the problem has returned, once again my left rear axle will not stay in. Obviously I can't just keep replacing the c-clips. What should I do now? Get axle spacers? Get Paul to make me a slightly shorter rear lift?

Time to sell it and get something else I guess LOL

I had my right rear pop out on my 'Gade once. When I put it back together I used the factory c-clip and it has held up fine.
Are you using CanAm clips or Gorilla? I had no luck with Gorilla clips on my Popo.

Can-am clips. The Gorilla clips are round and don't hold as good as the oval can-am clips

You might be on to something. Where on the arm does it usually bend? It might not have even got bent enough to notice.

Good point. Its not normally the left rear that pops out. The right rear is the short axle........it is usually the problem child.

The trailing arm appears to be fine. I wonder if when it popped out the first time maybe it ruined the grove for the C-clip in the ring gear?
