I had some 230gr FMJ's that I had loaded. I use them in my .45 but was looking for bullets that were cheap and would still shoot in a .454. The .454 uses a .452" diameter bullet wile my .45acp uses a .451" diameter bullet. The .451" 230gr FMJ's shot real well and I saw no signs of over pressure even with 3gr more powder than I usually in the big bullets. They only dented the pate a little when shot. I will find a good 300-400gr hardcast bullet and try it again.

You don't have to worry about me crackin' you over the head with the griddle. However, I think you should watch out for Phil, since it's in his posession right now.
