WOW, over an hour in the water with that one machine eh, that sucks when its that cold. Its tough unless you can pull stright up, but unless you have a bridge above you, thats not an option. We had to do that ones, luckily there WAS a bridge above us and we needed 2 winched to get it lifted up over the edge of the ice, his machine however was down as deep ad the top of the center headlight so I had to tow him home that day....

I wish it would snow down south, so that we could all go riding in it. We did get some snow a couple weeks ago......1/2 inch and it melted in less than 2 hours.

I gotta get one of those fur Eskimo hats. Those look really warm.

It's pretty fun for a while, but I'd much rather have warm temps with warm water and mud. Still we gotta do what we gotta do up here.

Those hats are goofy as hell...but I guess they're warm.
Desi just HAD to wear Billys for a while...I have no idea why though. <eyeroll>

We haven't had snow in a several years. We get the ice storms that take out all the southern pines and knock down power lines.

Goofy or not, the hat looks warm. But I don't think I will find one in Alabama. I will have to do some online shopping.

nice pics. i wish i could go riding. i fianlly got my bike fixed (it was bad gas). but it is like -50 up here right now. plus i got some broken stuff to fix yet.

And here are those pics of roger on the pond... they're kinda far away but you can still see it... Didn't get one of buck on there......

RUbber Down, it was a blast... was great and warm both days... At some point a think Mark and i Decided we had-had two many sundrops and we were to cold to care, so we hit the blankies ( not together ) and called it a night...

Way to cool... cant wait till spring to do it some more!

We used to use a big tent for moose season, heres a picture of it, but it had a nice wood stove inside. It was warm when we went to bed, but frickin freeeezing by morning LOL.

Then we got smart, 2 of the older fella's bought some land up there and the other 8 of us pitched in and bought the materials for the new camp, much MUCH better than tenting it ;)

If I'm not mistaking, they use to be in Nascar sponsoring a car back in the 80's I think. They sponsored Dale Earnhardt in his rookie year in 1979. I even have a Sundrop bottle (still filled) with Dale Earnhardt on it back from his rookie year of 1979, it is at my parents house.
